I'd been talking a while ago about how there ought to be a Sherlock (that is, the new series) au as Doctor Who, and debating over which would be the Doctor and which would be the companion.

However, I like a crossover very much indeed. The false trailer (here) is quite brilliant!

Right. I had this dream, and I think it'd make a fabulous fic... except for how there's no way in hell I'm writing it. One: My writing schedule is already atrocious, and two: well. I don't think I could manage a few key characters' voicing.

So instead I'm making it a little challenge.

I know, I know, I must be on crack, what with the fact that I'm already pushing angst_bingo on you all. (No really, go check it out. Or pimp it out. Surely you know someone who loves angst? Pretty please?) But honestly, it's one little concept that could spin so many ways.

Oh, I haven't mentioned that bit yet have I... Namely, I want

Leverage / Sherlock

I'll be nice and say it's a comment game, and that there's three ways to play.

ONE. Leave a prompt, or write an answer. Just because I've had a fabulous idea pop into my head doesn't mean that you can't have fun getting something else in the same vein.

TWO. Pretty art is pretty. I know most people won't do this, but I'm not going to turn away pretty crossover art.

THREE. Write an answer incorporating in some way the bit I dreamed about (described below). You can rewrite the moment, write the build up, write what happens after, or whatever alternative twist on what I dreamed your pretty little brains come up with. Obviously this is what I'm most interested in, so I've got my fingers crossed. ♥

Nate and Moriarty are standing facing one another, separated by maybe a yard. It's the deepest part of night, but the area is open and well lit - possibly some sort of construction area, dock or similar.

"What is it you think you're doing?" Moriarty asks, in that jagged way he has, at once displeased and confident as the police, in coordination with Sterling (and Interpol) approach them and begin arresting him.

Nate just smirks, tsk tsk. "I thought you were smarter. You realize Sherlock got it in one?"

Lestrade mutters to Sterling, "A shame none of it will stick." But Sterling just chuckles. "'s alright. We're after a bigger fish."

Nate raises his eyebrows to Moriarty, eyes sparkling almost darkly, affirming Sterling's statement. Moriarty snarls and sneers, the cogs spinning fast behind his eyes and then the pieces fall into place.

"Damien Moreau?!"
