I'm covering for today's code monkey, because something went sideways and upside down on the HTML editor in codemonkeys. Suddenly, despite the fact that a new page codes normally, already existing Indexes are one long line of code that require the line break code to be manually coded in (where normally it's understood that hitting enter translates as a line break). There aren't even any aesthetic line breaks in the stream of code, which is why I'm stepping in. Today's monkey can't tell where one prompt ends and the next begins.

Fucking pissing me off. I've never seen that happen before. Not bouncing back and forth between Rich Text and HTML editors, not after one of the monkeys uses semagic (right? I think?) to handle the coding. I've never seen it to where when you hit enter for a line break, it doesn't translate as a break. Not in LJ, anyway.

So I'm going to write for a while longer, and then see if I can at least get things cleaned up while adding stuff in.

And Jesus, there's a lot to code. :sighs:

I'm done bitching now, promise.

Ok, so I'm Head Code Monkey for amara_m's community comment_fic. One person who had volunteered to help code index pages (think along the lines of coding for a newsletter - nothing fancy, just straight html updating links to stories, but consuming variable amounts of time) has fallen out of touch, and we didn't really have quite enough people anyway.

So I'm asking for help.

The comm is for comment porn, just so you know now what you'd be getting into. But I've only got Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday covered (plus Saturday, if I take two days). Is there anyone willing to help? Know someone that might be? Please? ::looks really cute:: I'll even beg!

We're planning (as far as I know) on opening up the comm this weekend for Free For All Weekends, which means my first day to code will be this Sunday. Tuesday will be here before I know it.... and I'd really hate for us to be floundering!

So please? Pretty please help us out?

And now for something... well. I'd say completely different but there are way too many people on my flist with a thing for Kane's hair.

Dean Devlin does an interview for CliqueClack TV talking about Leverage. He talks about things like casting, and there's some small spoilers (mostly episode titles) in the section with bullet points.

But the thing that left me giggling with amusement?
“It’s an evolving thing. It’s so interesting to see how people have reacted to it … his fighting powers come from his hair … opponents are so dazzled by his pretty hair that they don’t see the punch coming….”
