gwy is gonna be here in a couple of hours. and I still need to study for my exam on Thursday. and I probably should go through my apartment with the vacuum cleaner since I haven't gotten around doing that yet... you wouldn't believe how much dust settles EVERYWHERE when you're gone for 4 weeks. >.<.

And food. Food would be good at some point.

Also, the muses are making good use of my being busy with studying... I wrote over 500 words of Initial D fic yesterday night when I was supposed to be doing other IMPORTANT things. *flat look*

How is it that the less time I have the more the urge to write grows? Not fair. So not fair.

Anyway, need to study. and clean. and study. and then go pick up gwy. Hussah.

I managed to catch a virus on my comp. There isn't too much file damage, thank god, but there is only one way to completely get rid of the worm and anything it might have brought with it. *SIGH*

and the crappy weather doesn't make it any better, damnit...it's been raining all day yesterday, it was storming during the night, and it's still raining now..... how I hate that!

ok, the problems started Saturday night. My comp would suddenly tell me that there was no network cable connected to it.... the internet connection was kicking me out every 30 seconds.... Well, shit, I thought.

Took the comp to my parents' and a friend's house yesterday, hooked it up to the network.... it worked just fine. What the hell?

My guess was then that there was something wrong with the cable at home.

Got home today, hooked up the comp.... nothing happend. I couldn't even CONNECT to the internet. not even for 30 seconds.

I changed the cable (I had a spare one)....nothing.

Re-installed the software. Nothing.

Changed the ethernet cable to a USB cable.....re-installed the software. Nothing.

*insert colorful swear words here*

It must be the modem, which I've only had for two freaking months.

Called the tech support, got put on hold for I don't know how long, finally talked to someone who then told me that they would have a technician call me within the next 2 to 3 days to make an appointment to look at it. Great.

Appointment this week? Not very likely. Appointment next week? Maybe.... *aaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhh*

I'm paying a freaking lot of money for a connection I can't use. And I'm paying now for the dial-up connection I have to use in order to at least get my email. *cries* no fair....

So, yeah. you won't see me online for I don't know how long....-_-"

I was supposed to go to a lecture starting at 8 o'clock this morning.
Now, the buildings of my uni are not neatly in one place but pretty much spread out through the city.

I went there using the directions I had gotten off the uni website yesterday.

I just couldn't find the fucking room!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

And at 8 am, there isn't exactly a lot of people you could ask....-_-"

Now, that was a very.... interesting day. I spent all morning and half of the afternoon packing...(where the hell does all that stuff come from?!)

I also spent quite some time sanding my new bookcase and putting the second layer of stain on it. Well, everything went just fine, until....

I had just startet to put stain on the last piece, when suddenly the can with the stain tipped over....-_-" (hear me swearing in several languages).

The stuff happend to be very runny, so nothing was left in the can when I managed to get a hold of it! (hear me swearing even more colorfully)
And the last piece had only been done halfway.... -_-

So I cleaned up the mess, then waited for my dad to ask for help.... I didn't want to use just some random stuff I had found in the basement and ruin the wood.

Luckily, he had some stuff I could use, even on top of the other stain that I had already put on the wood.

I love my dad. ^_^

Well, bedtime now. I've got more packing to do tomorrow morning... *groans*

All my white clothes are gone....! I put them in the washing machine last weekend, then I left for a day, leaving it to my mom to put them in the dryer.

I haven't seen them since then! My mom insists on having folded them and having put them in a pile (a pretty big pile, I might add here: two sweat-shirsts and several t-shirts), but she doesn't know where they are now, neither does my dad.

They're GONE!

No one knows where they are. I've looked for them in every place in the whole freaking house I could think of, but... nothing!

I had to do my taxes and I'm finally done. Just need to print it out. But no.
That stupid program I' m using just decides to set my brother's printer (which is not plugged in) as default printer and won't let me change it!!!
Gah! I don't have my own printer, so I have to use someone else's over the network we have at home...

but I can't get this to work *whines* and I need to print it out!
