Handstree — is the innovative online platform to unite philanthropists with social impact projects through the model of an open community for transparent, secured and decentralized charity.
Unlike the traditional crowdfunding platforms we focus in creating long-term relationships between donors and teams through direct donations, and increasing a transparency through social media approach with user and teams profiles, personal feed with activities and financial reports.
Handstree was founded in Mariupol in December 2021 by a team with years of experience together, specializing in UI/UX interfaces used by millions, strong marketing campaigns, and high-load systems.
Our passion for social innovations drove us to find a solution to the challenges of fundraising for social impact changemakers, which often require significant time and effort to secure donations, diverting focus from the mission itself.
This inspired us to create a platform dedicated to engage safe and easy support for projects, such as animal shelters, inclusive workshops or renovation communities. We were immediately selected for the 1991 Startup Accelerator program.
Handstree became the culmination of years of personal involvement in charity work. Ex-founder a Hepatitis-C Foundation in Odesa. Over 15 years of experience in developing high-load systems and 5 years of technical project & product management.
Seeking social projects, facilitating their onboarding and providing ongoing assistance. Ex-adviser in the Odesa legal aid bureau for socially vulnerable people.

24th of February 2022 changed everything for all Ukrainians and after almost a month of occupation in Mariupol, we got a chance to survive and continue our mission.
As part of our success, we were invited to the Phineo Startups acceleration program in Berlin, where we completed our impact research and presented our project at notable events such as Café Kyiv and the Impact Summit.
In September 2023, we won the Engagement Preis and were selected for the Startup Incubator Berlin, receiving support through the Berlin Startup Stipendium. This support enables us to complete the development of our platform and officially register our company, Handstree UG.
