I am a retired Senior Professor at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), where I still advise a couple of brilliant graduate students who want to work on challenging research problems. 

During my time at UNICAMP, I have conducted advanced research in computer architecture, parallel programming, and compiler optimization for HPC and AI. This was accomplished in partnership with companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Intel, LG, Xilinx, and Samsung, among others.
