
Fang Wang
Fang Wang, Ph.D., is a principal investigator at the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), which is the top research center for soil science in China. She was appointed full professor at the Institute in 2014, holding the “Soil Environmental Chemistry” chair, with the aim to unravel the mechanisms of soil pollution and developing remediation technique with the focus on persistent organic pollutants and emerging contaminants, especially for antibiotics and resistance genes in soil environment. She has worked in the German Research Center for Environmental Health and Munich Technique University for more than two years and in Prof. James M. Tiedje’s lab in Michigan State University for more than one year. She was awarded the “Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow for Experienced Researchers” from the Humboldt Foundation, Germany
