
Francisco Javier González Vallejo
Francisco Javier González Vallejo has a degree on Political Studies at Universidad de Guadalajara. He has developed several specialty topics as Transparency and Accountability. Corruption fight; and Electoral Systems. His has a PhD degree on Social Sciences specialized on Mexican political system.
He started his career as Lobbying Manager of the Jalisco Business Center (COPARMEX), from there a founding member of the Citizens for Transparent Municipalities Collective (CIMTRA). He was Project Director and later Secretary General of the Jalisco Economic and Social Council (CESJAL).
Later, the local Congress elected him Commissioner of the Jalisco Transparency Institute (ITEI), from there he promoted the creation of the Open Government Technical Secretariat, a space for the participation and collaboration of academics, NGOs and businessmen with the government.
He has been Professor on several universities: ITESO, Tec de Monterrey, UNIVA and currently at Universidad de Guadalajara (UDG).
Since May 2019, he has been the Academic Secretary at the Los Lagos University Center (CULAGOS). His responsibility is to assist the Rectory in different areas: undergraduate and graduate educational programs management, the teacher training program, research management, etc.
At CULAGOS he shaped the “Global Citizenship Class” initiative, a semester curse, fully on English, teaching multidisciplinary topics from global and local perspectives to students from all disciplines programs. Also, he has promoted a more intensive activity on the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Laboratory party together students, professors and businessmen on diverse stimulant initiatives.
With the arrival of the pandemic, he has established the online completion of various school and academic procedures, besides, he created the Online Teaching Clinic as a space for cooperation and feedback between teachers.
