So, I spent over five hours in Casualty to be told that they have no idea what is causing my severe back pain, but it's not my heart, lungs, kidneys or gall bladder...

Well that's reassuring!

So one of favourite shows, Ashes To Ashes has finally finished.

It was sad, magnificent and awful all at once. The last time I was this upset at the end of a series was Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Then tonight/tomorrow morning another one of my favourite TV shows, Lost, will be coming to a close.

I'm thrilled that Sky 1 is showing it at the exact same time as it airs in the US so the UK doesn't get spoiled, but 5am is way too early for me to get up and watch it on one of my days off. Luckily I have Sky+, so I can record it and watch it when I get up/turn on my computer!

My thoughts on both endings with follow after a few viewings.

It's Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lost is back this Friday night!

I'm so excited and a little sad as it really is the beginning of the end.

Anyway, although my flist are awesome about staying spoiler free, I'm going to put some of you on a filter for the next 17 weeks. It's not that I don't trust you, it's that I don't trust myself!

I will be checking in after I've seen each episode but other than that, I'm going to banish you to protect myself!

Yes you were all pretty and white and kind of fun for about 2 days, but the thrill has worn off and now I'm just tired and cold and have hurt my back/hip/knee/ankle trying to walk in you. Day 8: Having a nice long lie in this morning and spending the whole day doing nothing just mooching around!

Oh, also the text from travelsintown confirming that she's booked the theatre tickets for me, her and daya_slyth, so the three of us can finally get together all at the same time! (at least I think that's what it said, I was half asleep and accidentally deleted it while trying to save it!)

Day 7: Getting to go into work an hour later than usual (I am owed some time and my company isn't paying overtime at the moment) and fitting in some shopping in Primark. Also managing to buy a couple of Christmas presents.

Day 5: Finally getting my nails done after waiting almost 2 weeks longer than usual to get them done because the salon has become so popular! But I feel much better now and am going to treat myself to some nail polish. Apparently Chanel's 'Jade' is the new colour for Winter and seeing as how this is the only area in which I'm fashion conscious I may splurge!

Day 3:The sound of both stepmonsters in their room laughing their heads off and generally being silly together. It's a little sad that they're not together more often now that oldest lives with us and youngest live with her mum, but I suppose that's the reason they're laughing and not fighting!

Day 1: I have finally joined the world of mobile internet and got myself a Blackberry. This has made me very happy as being away for a week last week with no internet was no fun at all.

I am so bad at updating, no wonder I don't have many LJ friends!

Anyway, I spent all last week in the north of England helping the company I work for, open a new shop, and with no internet access as well! It was a very hard week and I came home Friday night, just wanting a quiet weekend in, but no.

I booked myself completely this weekend. On saturday I met my mum in Leicester square for lunch and then we went to see 'The Rise and Fall of Little Voice' at the Vaudeville theatre. I wanted to see it because my favourite contestant from last years X factor, Diana Vickers, was in it and my mum wanted to see it because she loved the film (as did I) It was a wonderful show and Diana as LV didn't disappoint, taking a very hard and specific role and (as Louis Walsh would say) making it her own.

I got home in time to watch X Factor and the travesty that was Strictly Come Dancing before collapsing into bed

Sunday is a whole other post and once I calm down enough to write it, I will fill you all in on 'The night GrrArrg was in the same room as Simon Cowell!'
