SI47XX for hobbyists, hams and radio enthusiasts who use Silicon Labs SI47XX based receivers.
The Si47XX is DSP receiver family IC from Silcon Labs. It has great performance on AM (LW/MW/SW) and local FM station. The SI47XX devices can be programmed by using commands and responses. You can contron it via a microcontroller like Arduino, PIC and others. To make the SI47XX perform an action, the microccontroller have to send a set of bytes (command and arguments) that the device interpret it and executes the given command.
