what is greendog ? why greendog ?!

greendog (the website) was created because i have an insatiable need to start long-term and somewhat directionless projects. and also because social media sucks eggs!!!!!

greendog (the name) originated from a youtube video by samoyed rintaro that i came across by chance. in the video, rintaro was given a fur treatment that turned him completely green. i was so charmed by his greenness that i started making casual references to it in my daily life. then i changed my profile pictures to him, and my friends started referring to me as greendog. he has unexpectedly become a part of my online identity and i think it's lovely :3
