Sara Wallin
I was awarded my PhD in Politics from the University of Sheffield in December 2015. My ESRC-funded doctoral research project explored gender mainstreaming at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development from a feminist political economy perspective. My current research focuses on three key themes 1) the insertion of feminist agendas into private governance at a global scale 2) austerity and the politics of care in the UK 3) indebtedness and mental health. I currently serve as the co-convenor for the Feminist Political Economy Network (FemPEN) and work as a research associate at the Political Economy Research Centre at Goldsmiths. I also contribute to the Political Studies Association Research Commission on the Crisis of Care in Austerity Britain and work as a research assistant for Nicola Phillips at the University of Sheffield.
