[1:03 PM]Xane: Let’s start off with something sort of official: Dungeon Damsel Publishing is an independent tabletop RPG studio creating dangerous realms and systems for Shadowdark RPG that embrace its core ethos: Concise, accurate language, speed of play, darkness mechanics, meaningful risk, and bold OSR style artwork. Dungeon Damsel adds its own flair through death-metal inspired imagery, system expansions that prove Shadowdark can handle more than fantasy, ready-to-run campaign settings, living systems, and play driven by pressure, scarcity, and consequence.
[1:05 PM]Xane: I was a producer in the video game industry for 22 years. A few years after traveling the U.S. in a self-sustained van, I discovered Bunni, fell in love, she joined me in the van, and then we co-founded Dungeon Damsel Publishing.
[1:05 PM]Xane: (done for me)
[1:07 PM]Bunni [DCC], : Hi! I’m Bunni Daniel, also known as the Dungeon Damsel. I’m the co-creator of Unnatural Selection and Druskara, a campaign setting for Shadowdark. I work as an artist, enamel pin designer, and YouTuber, focused on creating dark fantasy worlds, oddititties and collectible art you can sport on your bags, lanyard or clothing.

I’m the founder of LilaLoom Press and the creative lead behind the YŌVĀKYĀNA Campaign Setting. I’ve been playing TTRPGs for more than 20 years, spending most of that time as a DM (a forever DM, of course) and designer. I now bring that experience to the project I’m leading. YŌVĀKYĀNA grew out of decades of interest in mythology and theology. It is heavily inspired by Indian and Persian antiquity, while remaining a fully original campaign setting. The inspirations stay at the level of influence, the real world itself is not present in the work. (done)
[7:32 PM]RoJoGamer (BrainstormB&G): Thanks for having me! My name is Roger Jones and I produce RPG materials (usually in zine format) under the company name Brainstorm Books and Games. I’ve also collaborated on various projects and continue to contribute. I’ve been playing RPGs since red box basic D&D and never stopped wanting to explore imaginary worlds. My ultimate goal is to produce a game that people like my son can navigate. He’s nonverbal autistic and although he’s very intelligent, conventional ways of playing still remain out of reach for him and many folks requiring alternative communication. I started self-publishing shortly before the start of the pandemic, which turned out to be ill-timed but a trial by fire, I suppose. My first project was called “Xenozine,” which was a sci-fi murder mystery where anyone can be the killer, and not even the GM knows until later on. Every time I make something, I try to take the approach of doing something a little different and outside of the box, like my sci-fi sitcom RPG Out in the Black Hack. I always try to think of what I would like to see that may not exist already. I think DOWNCAST fits the bill. (done)

In the settled core of human space, the Concord of Worlds keeps the peace with law, oversight, and hard limits on what technology—and what societies—are allowed to exist. This book is about everyone who left anyway. Encounters in Deep Space is a system-neutral, 5e-compatible adventure book full of 100 deep space scenarios for your starship crew: rogue colonies, drifting arks, experimental habitats, frontier economies, and outlaw technologies scattered across the silent dark. Each encounter plays like a short, self-contained sci-fi episode with the structure and usability of a classic dungeon room—just stretched to starship, station, or whole-planet scale. There are no alien empires here. Just humans, pushed to the edge of law, scarcity, and belief.Encounters in Deep Space – Rutibex | DriveThruRPG
Continue Reading[1:02 PM]The Gamester: My name is John Thompson. I’ve been into fantasy for decades (no need to give my age away), including on and off D&D.
[1:02 PM]The Gamester: In 2022 I decided to do what I had wanted to do for ages. To create my own fantasy world.
[1:04 PM]The Gamester: Since then I created the fantasy world of Ordinem. It is a complex and large world with a massive history, which we won’t have time to discuss here. It is the world that my new novel, The King’s Pride is set in. Which is why were are here.
[1:06 PM]The Gamester: I created the world for D&D, 5e, etc and have published a compendium for the central continent of Scionos and a number of RPG adventures. However, it was always my intention that the world be coloured with stories and legends.
[1:06 PM]The Gamester: So, we come to The King’s Pride.
[1:07 PM]The Gamester: This novel is set on the continent of Scionos, in a land called Valamire. This is on the surface a feudal kingdom, but in a world where wichery and monsters really exists.
[1:08 PM]The Gamester: Is that okay for a starter, or should I continue?
Continue Reading[1:10 PM]Ember (Em): Hello! My name is Ember Winters, I am the sole owner, writer, designer, and editor of Spelltech Press. I recently launched a successful Kickstarter campaign for my first game, Arcana Moderna! Arcana Moderna is a modern fantasy TTRPG built on 5e, designed for settings where the worlds of magic and the post-industrial clash and intertwine. To quote my Kickstarter, “…where magic, monsters, and ancient secrets exist alongside smartphones, skyscrapers, and corporate shuffle…It’s D&D in the modern age: mages in the board rooms, mimics at the burger joint, ropers in the junkyard, aboleths at the waterpark, and dragons soaring over towering skyscrapers.” The Arcana Moderna: Quickfire Rules is a complete mechanical and flavor overhaul of the 5e SRD, complete with an overhauled class list of 11 classes and 22 subclasses, a new Origins system, new skill list, new travel rules, an alternate combat system, vehicle combat rules, new feats, new equipment, an updated creature list with new creatures and new kinds of dragons, and an overhauled spell list with over 100 revisions of SRD spells and 26 brand new spells. The rulebook is releasing in April 2026, alongside a companion adventure: Palana Moderna: Fatal Attraction https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arcana-moderna/arcana-moderna?ref=user_menu Also, as a little treat, I’ve created an official Spotify playlist for the game, full of tunes and tracks that inspired me during the creation of this project. Feel free to take a listen during the Q&A! : All right. My name is Morten. I’ve been playing and gamemastering TTRPGs for 35 years, starting with AD&D 2nd Edition. I enjoy Tolkien, but prefer pulp adventure (less elves and more tentacles, I guess!).

: Around the year 2000, when D&D 3E and the Open Gaming License was released, I put up the Hyborian Age d20 Campaign website (https://hyboria.xoth.net/), which became a much-visited resource for fantasy roleplaying in the world of Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian. My work was noticed by Bill Webb of Necromancer Games, and in 2004 they published my book “Ancient Kingdoms: Mesopotamia”, a regional sandbox adventure set in a mythic bronze age, featuring ghouls, sand-worms, and mighty ziggurats.

: After that, I started self-publishing swords and sorcery adventures for 3E and eventually 5E, set in the World of Xoth but usable with any old-school, low-magic setting. It began with “The Spider-God’s Bride and Other Tales of Sword and Sorcery”, a 200-page collection of ten adventures inspired by the stories of Robert E. Howard, Clark Ashton Smith, and other pulp writers. It was followed by several other adventure books; the whole catalog can be found on https://xoth.net/publishing/ and also on DriveThruRPG: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/publisher/15833/xoth-publishing and print-on-demand books on Lulu: https://www.lulu.com/spotlight/xothpublishing/DriveThruRPG – The Largest RPG Download Store!Your one-stop online shop for new and vintage RPG products from the top publishers, delivered fresh to your desktop in electronic format.LuluXoth.Net Publishing – Books and Publications Spotlight | Lulu

: Which brings us to today: The latest adventure, “Last Kings of Alantha”, was released in October 2025. It was written as an homage to Robert E. Howard’s short story “The Gods of Bal-Sagoth”. Like most of Howard’s best stories, this one has it all: swords, sorcery, intrigue, mystery, monsters, and themes of civilization versus barbarism. And the action is set on an island, making it self-contained. In other words, an excellent starting point for a sword and sorcery adventure module!
[7:26 PM]Rutibex: Hello I am Michal Robinson creator of the Black Star OSR setting! https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/547803/black-star Black Star — A Sourcebook for the Wizard-God Kings of Maxxia Under the eternal darkness of a collapsed sun lies the inner surface of Maxxia: a Dyson sphere once engineered as the Emperor’s private garden. When the Planar Imperium fell, its machines faltered, its caretakers died, and control passed to those ruthless and brilliant enough to seize the scraps of god-technology left behind. Now the Black Star Lands are ruled by ten Wizard-God Kings—living anomalies who blend sorcery, ideology, and ancient Imperium subsystems into oppressive new civilizations. Their empires are not nations but malfunctioning departments of a dead god-machine, each clinging to survival through cruelty, propaganda, or delusion. Black Star is a OSR, lore-heavy sourcebook designed to give GMs and worldbuilders everything they need to run campaigns in this shattered realm of post-imperial science fantasy.
