[7:33 PM]Matthew, Meromorph Games: Hi! We’re brothers Matthew and Kevin from Meromorph Games, here to talk about Atma Season III!
[7:34 PM]Matthew, Meromorph Games: We started out making a few card games, but Kevin’s long been an avid TTRPG player, and after our second game we started work on something that would try to bridge the board game/TTRPG gap, since we both have a lot of friends that will sit down for game night but not necessarily for a weekly TTRPG campaign.
[7:35 PM]Matthew, Meromorph Games: That idea turned into Atma. Here’s the blurb from the Kickstarter: Atma is a complete roleplaying experience in a tiny card game package. It's portable, quick to set up and teach, and plays in just 2 hours — perfect for game nights or pop-up sessions! A Game Master and 1-4 players use illustrated tarot cards to fuel narrative-focused RPG gameplay in a fantastical, original setting. Atma excels as a tutorial for first-time GMs who've always wanted to run an RPG, while also allowing limitless creativity for roleplaying pros. Season III adds 12 new characters and 4 new stages that can be played standalone or mixed seamlessly with prior Seasons. It also adds Journey cards for campaign play. [7:36 PM]Matthew, Meromorph Games: For reference, here are what the GM and player areas would look like during a game:
