: My partner Andy and I started Limitless in 2016 to address a very simple problem of random encounters. Looking at a table of randoms, we rolled up 1d4 kobolds. Why were they there? Did the person who created the table realize they actually made the whole process MORE time consuming? They could at least give me AC and hp.

: So.. we started writing little encounters pack PDFs.
[8:08 AM] bigattichouse
: but we treated them less like adventures, and more like writing prompts

: A DM is creating flash fiction for their friends each week, every week, and needs tools that help with writer’s block.
[8:09 AM] bigattichouse
: Similarly with NPCs. If they have a store, wouldn’t it be nice to see what they sold?
[8:10 AM] bigattichouse
: We’ve created upwards of 500 encounters (probably closer to 750-1000) in our three main books, and every single one gives you three Further Adventure writing prompts

: Ylera Valley.
[8:13 AM] bigattichouse
: We’ve created a sandbox style campaign setting that you can drop into any campaign world.
[8:13 AM] bigattichouse
: The valley has been hidden from the world by Lord Ventru, a lich who rules with an iron fist.
[8:14 AM] bigattichouse
: We’ve created a number of story sidequests in the valley, along with individual encounters, secrets to discover, roleplay, puzzles, and skill challenges.
[8:16 AM] bigattichouse
: The sandbox valley (with hexmap overlay) allows for a more hexcrawl experience if your party enjoys exploration, or you can dive into the story elements with the individual sidequests. We’ve tried to structure it so that everyone gets a taste of the core elements of DnD that they like to engage with.
