This is my now page, with what I’m thinking and working on. You should make one too.
Updated 2026-07-24 from Amsterdam. It’s sunny and green.
A Lot More Writings #
I’m writing a lot more. I think what finally made writing stick for me was that I started writing for my own. To think and solve problems. And I’m using Obsidian for it now. I have made some customizations to make it more enjoyable. I will share more about it. These are just my personal writings. My blog is on a git repo. But I made a tool to export the writings I want to my blog. So a lot of the notes you see here like my Trips and Garden are coming from Obsidian. On using Obsidian, I generally like this program. It has a good mobile support so I can write and attach pictures on the phone as well.
If it all goes well I’m gonna write a lot more for myself, and share them on this website.
Learning Electronics #
I’m learning electronics to make a Pipetting Robot. So far I’m learning how to use a microcontroller (I’m using esp32c3 I also used a rp2350) with a motor driver and stepper motor. On the software side I’m using embassy-rs/embassy and so far it has been good and easy to follow for a beginner.
ty Python Type Checker #
I haven’t worked on it for a while now. My last work was on pytest integration. It was not reviewed for a long time but I might get back to it.
Gardening #
My plants are doing well and are enjoying the warm weather and the sun. Recently I found a couple more plants on the street and added them to my collection. You can see them in my Garden.
Building a Logic Gate Simulator #
I haven’t worked on Simu for a while but I might get back to it. I just wanted to experiment with how far I can go and I let go of it at some point. Is it because I don’t see any value in it? I don’t know. When I started this was because I had a lot of fun learning how computers work and wanted a tool better than logisim. So I started building it.
Cooking #
I’m cooking a lot more and I love it. I’m mostly following YummyGastronomy. I usually bake bread weekly. I also make pizzas at home and I even got a pizza stone for it. The bread you can make at home has the potential to be ten times better than what you get from grocery store. That’s why I think it is worth the time.
Some Questions #
I still don’t know what I want to do in life. I don’t even know if this is a single thing or I want to multiple things. What I miss from what I do today is feeling excited about it. I remember when I was a kid and I learning programming, I would bounce out of bed going to my computer to continue what I was doing. I also felt the same with playing games. I just miss that feeling. So the question about what should I do these days come from here. Otherwise, I have enough to keep myself busy.
