FREE PEOPLE RISING UP FOR PALESTINE AND COLLECTIVE LIBERATION
In response to a direct call from Palestinians in Gaza, the Global Sumud Flotilla is preparing to sail again this spring with thousands of participants, more than a hundred boats, and expanded goals.
This mission not only aims to break the siege and deliver life-saving humanitarian aid, but also to establish a sustained civilian presence. Teams of doctors, nurses, teachers, eco-builders, unarmed civilian protectors, and others will disembark to work alongside the Palestinian people as they continue to endure the Israeli regime's ongoing attacks and begin rebuilding healthcare systems and basic infrastructure destroyed over the past two years.
This mission is also not only about those at sea. It is about the millions around the world who are ready to say "enough is enough." People prepared to inherit the responsibility abandoned by governments and institutions, take to the streets, and demand change.
This moment in history requires collective participation. Guided by the Palestinians' steadfast struggle for liberation, our coalition of everyday people and movements is mobilizing communities worldwide to act. Together, we rise against apartheid, racism, imperialism, colonialism, ecocide, and all systems of oppression.
We urgently need your support to fund our sea and land missions and fuel the global movement to break the illegal siege.
The Spring 2026 Global Sumud Flotilla is organized around six interlinked targets:
The Spring 2026 mission marks an important shift from short-term aid delivery to a sustained, professional civilian presence. It includes: • Over 100 boats • More than 3,000 participants • Representation from 100+ countries • Specialized teams in healthcare, protection, education, law, and eco-reconstruction This will be the largest coordinated civilian maritime action for Palestine to date.
The upcoming mission is organized around six interlinked targets: 1. Breaking the Siege: Challenging Israel's illegal naval blockade of Gaza. 2. Delivering Life-Saving Aid: Transporting urgently needed food, medicine, and essential supplies. 3. Establishing an Unarmed Protective Presence: Deploying trained civilians to deter violence, document violations, and support community protection. 4. Supporting Reconstruction: Accompanying Palestinians through early rebuilding efforts of homes, schools, hospitals, and civil institutions. 5. Confronting Complicity: Mobilizing global civil society to challenge the governments and institutions that enable Israel's illegal blockade, occupation, and mass atrocities. 6. Catalyzing Global People-Powered Action: Turning the flotilla into a catalyst for coordinated land and sea actions that amplify Palestinian voices and mobilize people worldwide where institutions have failed.
The flotilla delivers life-saving aid and civilian protection while also asserting Palestinians' legal right to freedom of movement, access to their coastline, and protection from collective punishment. When governments and institutions fail to uphold these obligations, civilians have both the right and responsibility to act.

The medical mission works in partnership with Palestinian healthcare workers to reinforce emergency care and support a health system devastated by siege and ongoing assaults.
