A actina gamma do músculo liso entérico ou actina gamma 2 é unha proteína que nos humanos está codificada no xene ACTG2 do cromosoma 2 humano.[1][2][3]
As actinas son proteínas conservadas que interveñen en varios tipos de motilidade celular e no mantemento do citoesqueleto. Nos vertebrados identificáronse tres grupos principais de isoformas da actina: alfa, beta e gamma. As actinas alfa atópanse no tecido muscular e son o principal constituínte do aparato contráctil. As actinas beta e gamma coexisten na maioría dos tipos celulares como compoñentes do citoesqueleto, e como mediadores da motilidade cellar interna. A actina gamma 2, codificada por este xene é unha actina do músculo liso atopado en tecidos entéricos.[3]
