Scene level custom properties aren't supported

Tags added in the Scene properties tab don't show up in searches.

Where do you expect these scene properties to show up? Perhaps on the ModelRoot node?

ModelRoot for actors. When loaded with loadModel() the root node is called whatever is specified as scene name in blender. So pretty much whatever the top node is.
