
Anna Ildatova
Anna Ildatova is a theatre programme curator at GES-2. She graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) and holds MA in Performing arts from the joint programme of Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main and Sophia-Antipolis University in Nice. She co-curated the program for Russian and international theatre festivals, worked in the production and stage management for a number of the performances at Territoria festival (2007-2017), NET festival (2014) and others. As a dramaturge she contributed to the performance by Martin Schick for the Access Point festival (2018). Ildatova curated the Residency programme for emerging and established theatre professionals (2015-2018) at the ‘Union of Theatre Workers of Russia’, the oldest theatre society in Russia. For the years 2018-2019 she was a member of the Board of Experts for The Golden Mask, Performing Arts Festival and National Theatre Award, a major forum, representing Russian theatrical life to professionals and the public at large, and a cultural institution, performing a complex of key strategic tasks for the theatre.
Ildatova teaches History and Theory of Theatre at the Moscow School of New Cinema since 2018. She contributed with theatre reviews to several Russian magazines and newspapers, The Theatre magazine, Vedomosti, Colta, the Port, The Village, Buro 24/7, Vogue are among them.
