In the fast-paced world of open-source software, a decade is an eternity. For over 3,600 days, Kcptun has been a silent, reliable guardian for many of us. It has cut through network congestion and provided the speed we rely on—whether for gaming, streaming, or critical data transmission.

But here is a fact that might surprise you: For 10 years, the author has done this entirely for free.

Despite the massive user base and the countless weekends and late nights spent fixing bugs, optimizing algorithms, and maintaining the code, the creator has never been paid for this project.
