For better maintainability and consistency, dependency versions should be declared as constants at the top of the file. This project already does this for many dependencies like SQLITE_JDBC_VERSION and SLF4J_VERSION. Extract the HikariCP version to a constant (e.g., val HIKARI_CP_VERSION = "6.3.1") in the declarations at the top of the file and use that constant here.
