Prerequisites

• I have carried out troubleshooting steps and I believe I have found a bug.
• I have searched for similar bugs in both open and closed issues and cannot find a duplicate.

Describe the bug

Before today, using the product filters feature on my website would work flawlessly. But I woke up this morning to an Adsense error saying they are unable to show ads on pages that worked before.

When looking into the issue, I noticed when I use the product filters feature on my home page of the woocommerce shop, I’m always redirected to the “Hello World” default post that come with WordPress.

However, if I use the product attribute filter feature while viewing a woocommerce category, then the filters work as they should

It’s only when trying to use the attribute filter on the index page of the woocommerce shop, that I’m seeing this redirect issue cropping up now.

I’ve tried switching my theme back to to the default storefront and the issue still persists.

Expected behavior

when selecting one of the many woocommerce product filter attributes, I normally see a filtered list of products based on the attribute that was selected

Actual behavior

instead, if I try to use a product attribute filter on the home page of the woocommerce shop, then I am getting redirected to the hello world post

Steps to reproduce

1. Visit home page of the website
2. Select a product filter
3. watch as the website redirects you to the hello world post instead of filtering the products

Isolating the problem

• I have deactivated other plugins and confirmed this bug occurs when only WooCommerce plugin is active.
• This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active, or Storefront.
• I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.
