[Enhancement]: Fix the display of letter descenders in the shipping class dropdown menu #35188

Describe the solution you'd like
The contents of the shipping class dropdown are cut off below the text baseline. Tested in Chrome 106 (OS X). Note how the bottom parts of the letters p and g are cut off in the screenshot below.
Acceptance criteria
- The contents are correctly displayed with no visible glitches in all browsers.
