  • Remove the deprecated WordPress ESLint plugin and update it with @wordpress/eslint-plugin
  • Update deprecated ESLint config file with extension-based config file i.e. .eslintrc -> .eslintrc.js
  • Add a prettier config file.

@westonruter I am thinking of experimenting with vite and swc and seeing how it can affect our development experience.
