I like this plugin but there are two issues on my end:

1. What is the basis of auto-detection for language? I use markdown on my desktop and then copy/paste it inside the post content. As I am using Jetpack markdown support so all content is neatly transformed into blocks. For the code, I am using language-name but this plugin doesn't detect the language tags. For Instance for Python code I am using python and for output, I am using output tags. What am I doing wrong?

2. Regarding style, it seems more a css issue. I am using twenty twenty builtin theme and there is huge margins applied to each block. Screenshot is below. How to reduce these margins?
