Support a higher level config than the current tab-config that allows you to define an entire window. This could be as simple as a list of child tab-config files.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Because tab-configs require all the panes to share a window's real estate, this is less useful than a multi-tab window configuration where you may have multiple apps running that require full screens by default.
Working with a window of multiple busy tab-configs is also very demanding as you need to change between Cmd+Shift+[ to switch tabs and Shift-[ to shift panes.
tab-configs do solve a problem especially bootstrapping certain panes but then forcing all other panes to share that tab is unwieldy.
