Description

Summary

Superwhisper voice transcription does not populate terminal input in Warp on Windows, even though the same speech workflow works in Windows Terminal.

Problem

During terminal/editor interaction in Warp, speech-to-text via Superwhisper fails to transcribe spoken input. The same setup transcribes correctly in Windows Terminal, indicating the failure is specific to Warp behavior.

Expected behavior

When speaking through Superwhisper in Warp, dictated text should be transcribed into the focused terminal/editor input area.

Actual behavior

In Warp, Superwhisper does not transcribe spoken input into terminal/editor input.

Reproduction steps or desired workflow

  1. Open Warp on Windows.
  2. Focus a terminal/editor input area where text entry is expected.
  3. Trigger Superwhisper voice transcription and speak.
  4. Observe that no transcription is inserted in Warp.
  5. Repeat the same dictation flow in Windows Terminal and observe transcription works.
