When using an animated loading gif (same one we used in Squirrel) with a transparent background, we know notice:

1. Black background where it should be transparent
2. A progress bar

Describe the solution you'd like

Add support for transparent animated gifs.

A nice-to-have would be to disable the "progress bar", but maybe we can customize our splash instead.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Create a splash without transparent parts.
