Just to summarize what this PR is doing, to benefit future reviewers, since the title isn't all of what is going on:
- this PR is announcing that the previous
spec.mdhas been moved out of (removed from) themainbranch and (copied) into theexperimentsbranch already - this PR also cleans up (removes) the
experimentsfolder out of themainbranch because experimental work should live in theexperimentsdirectory of theexperimentsbranch
