It's been a dream of mine to create a logging program that fully integrates with my FLEX-6700, Flex-8600M, Aurora AU-520, and PGXL. Finally, with a little help from my good buddy Claude, that dream has come to fruition with SliceLogger.
SliceLogger is a full-featured ham radio logging program designed to leverage SmartSDR radio hardware by interfacing directly with a FLEX-6000, FLEX-8000, or Aurora radio via the SmartSDR API. It is SmartLink and multiFLEX-aware, and integrates with the 4O3A PGXL.
A complete overview of everything SliceLogger does is found in the Feature Help file — from rapid manual QSO entry to automatic WSJT-X and FLDigi logging, FlexRadio slice tracking, SmartLink support, and live radio telemetry, LoTW, and eQSL.cc upload and sync, Award tracking, logbook ADIF import, paper QSL card tracking, DXCC entity tracking, space weather, the interactive Grid Map of worked squares, and the Grayline / Spots Globe with real-time 3-D day/night shading and live DX spot visualization.
Getting Started: After downloading and installing the application on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC, navigate to the Help->Features menu selection to familiarize yourself with SliceLogger features.
Then select Help->Getting Started, which will guide you through setting up an Operator (that would be you!) and connecting to a radio.
Next, take a look at the Help->Radio Setup, which covers how to discover your radio and log into a SmartLink account to use remote radios. As a SmartSDR user, the concepts should be second nature, but this will familiarize you with using SliceLogger.
Then check out the Help->Entering a QSO, and you should be on your way!
Reporting Bugs: Download the latest version and give it a try. Report issues through this repository. Please be specific as to what you were doing and what you thought would happen, but didn't. Include screen captures if at all possible.
