Short Summary
Thoth-station production cluster currently is live on the moc kaizen cluster, which is deployed via overlay/prod of all the components. we would like to explore the option of having a production cluster on operate-first cnv moc cluster and extend our services to the public through this production cluster.
Apart from having different compute node resources, the clusters also differ in the openshift version.
MOC Kaizen: v3.11
MOC CNV: v4.5

we would also get support from the operate-first team for other components that are required for the thoth-station setup and is not managed by us.

• gather information for required components managed by operate-first (kafka, prometheus, grafana)
• update a separate overlay cnv-prod with update of secrets and configmaps
• verify the stable version of the tag for component deployment on production.
• documents on the maintenance aspect of the production
  • how often would the production sync with the stage?
  • criticality of updating base of any components!
• include a script in Thoth-ops for syncing ceph document from stage to prod
• sync ceph documents and DB dump in prod
• enlist all required component of thoth-station prod to be deployed via argocd.
• verify services availability
• check the response of the services.
