Using Unity's built in fog renderer. The Editor has a weird visual bug, gameplay looks fine. Color and strength need work.
I just like using Jetbrains rider over VS
Vastly Improved performance, tweaked the variables. Placed the prefab in prefabs/environment

This is a good stopping point for the ambient fog. It's not true volumetric, but migrating to HDRP is a non-trivial change and needs a lot more work.
