This change adds a new `assets` directory to the project. This directory is intended to store images, mockups, and other visual assets. A `.gitkeep` file is included to ensure the directory is tracked by Git even when empty. The `README.md` has been updated to include placeholders for an app icon and screenshots, which should be placed in the `assets` directory.
