Could it be that the search algorithm has changed in a recent version?

It seems that I can only search for the beginning of titles, author, etc., whereas I fancy that I could search for arbitrary words on the past.

Next, spaces are ignored. For example, when I search for lama, I get La maison as result, but not Dalai Lama.

The behavior stays does not change when I rebuild the Full Text Search data, or the indexes.
