Quotation marks don't get replaced when working with Sweave-files.

I use RStudio and TeXstudio to work on the same source file at the same time. I use TeXstudio, because it's a way better LaTeX-editor than RStudio, which supports LaTeX only rudimentary. I highly appreciate the support for Sweave/knittr files, since that allows me to write my reports with all the power of the TeXstudio-IDE!

Expected behavior

When I type ", it should automatically get replaced by \enquote{ or whatever substitution I have chosen in the options.

Actual behavior

When I type " nothing gets replaced

How to reproduce

• Set Options > Configure TeXstudio > Editor > Replace Quotation Marks to any option but "no replacement"
• Open or create a noweb file with Sweave extension (*.Rnw)
• Try to write text in quotation marks
