Expected behavior

The tree items for non active documents should show in the same way as for the active document, but open sub tree button is missing (see green marks in image).

Actual behavior

The second (bold .tex) document is the active when I select "Show all open documents in this tree" from document context menu. What I see is this:

The first document is the root doc, all others are sub (sub) docs of it. Even so, clicking on the first or the last two documents will open the document tree and add the (missing) open sub tree butten (placed before doc name).

How to reproduce

Set tree to "Show only current document in this tree" after you have opened some documents of a project with sub documents.
