Report preparation
What happened?
I used a memory channel to select a rx frequency. the pointer moves. the proper frequency is displayed. the actual frequency received was not even close. I couldn't hear any trace of the signal I could see on the waterfall. I twitch the mouse wheel to move it and it comes right in.
What did you expect?
I used memory tune to select a frequency, I expect that to be the frequency.
Steps to reproduce
I initially connected smartSDR. I then turned that off. waited 30 seconds.
I opened Aether.
It connected.
it initially was on 40 meters.
I pressed Band
I selected 80 meters
I selected a memory channel in 80 meters SSB
the pointer moved appropriately on the dial. there was actively a strong station there as I could see on the waterfall, but not hear it. I was hearing static like a blank channel.
the rx however was not where It was receiving.
I twitched the pointer with the mouse, and it immediately jumped to life and I could hear the voice that I seen on the waterfall before although the reading of frequency was still the same.
my conclusion the memory is not inputting into the stack properly. may be related to my band change but I already reported.
AetherSDR version
0.9.6
Radio model & firmware
flex 8400 2.4
Operating system
Windows
OS version and hardware
windows 10
