Hi @msft-takend, thank you so much for this PR! I wanted to hop in and acknowledge that it's taking me a lot longer than typical to review it, but I intend to merge this and publish a new package to NuGet before much longer.

I've been putting 100% of my free time into getting ScottPlot.net version 5 released (I was targeting Jan 1 but it's looking to be a week or two late) then I'll focus more on this this library and the Spectrogram package as well.
