Hey Sun,
Any specific reason for the Discontinuation of Superbacked OS (arm64-raspi)? I really love using it on an air-gapped Pi.
And it is much easier to have a Pi as the air-gapped and exclusive secret management computer instead of Mac or a x64 PC.

Thanks for the feedback @yashbhtngrr.

First, given we don’t have telemetry, I didn’t know if anyone was actually using Raspberry Pi hardware.

Superbacked OS is becoming more sophisticated by bundling trezor, yubikey-manager and yubikey-prov and we’re hoping to update the underlying base image of Ubuntu Desktop more frequently which requires manual work to maintain and test… double the work to support both architectures. That said, we will still be releasing arm64 AppImages.

If enough people raise their hand and if some of you are willing to help test Superbacked OS (arm64-raspi) release candidates, we might reconsider.

Maintaining Superbacked is a lot of work so we’re trying to find the right balance.

I'm sure more people out there are using the Pi based Superbacked OS. As you mentioned, since there is no telemetry, and/or any way for you to know how many people are using it, it is hard to know what percentage of the users are using the Pi OS, but I'm sure there are many others.

I'm happy to do the tests for the arm64-raspi image. I already use it often.

Everything is working as expected, really like the new file encryption feature.
Not sure how to use the Yubikey functionality. Maybe I am missing a doc?

Hey, thanks for testing app! YubiKey feature refers to bundling of yubikey-prov in Superbacked OS.
