Hi.

We are using your plugin on our website and we love it. It's really simple to use and it gives us nice control over users categorization.

However, we would like to have an option to attach user to just one group. So instead of checkboxes there will be radio buttons on edit screen.

Do you think it would be possible?

Thanks

Sure!

Unfortunately the API used by post formats (for exclusive term assignments) isn't very public, and also isn't baked into the taxonomy API itself, so this will need a bit of doing.

Consider also that radio buttons don't typically have a "Deselect" option, meaning that users will be required to always pick one group in the taxonomy, unless some special type of code is written later. (Put another way, users will be unable to "leave all groups" once they are radios.)
