Came across a report of the DB4S installer hanging, or taking an extremely long time, on Windows:

    LibraryCarpentry/lc-sql#13

It's probably something to do with the Visual C+ redistributable, but that's just a first guess.

The workaround is to use the PortableApp version, as that doesn't bundle the Visual C++ redistributable.
