For me, the build fails with:
make: GNUmakefile: Too many levels of symbolic links
make: stat: GNUmakefile: Too many levels of symbolic links
make: *** No rule to make target 'GNUmakefile'. Stop.
Adding build_directory = 'spack-build' fixes the problem, though.

Thanks - updated. Originally worked for me on my laptop (fedora), but I did hit the same error when I tried it on our build server (rhel7) this morning. Not sure why... |
