The version number I used doesn't match other versions in the package; but it's what Oracle is using, even in -version. Since this is the only version 14, I don't know whether it should be 14.2020.03_17, or if they'll do more traditional versioning later.

$ java -version
java version "14" 2020-03-17
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 14+36-1461)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14+36-1461, mixed mode, sharing)

Note that the previous "preferred" version isn't available from oracle as a download any longer; so this update is required to get the package to work again.

@anderbubble Since jdk won't compile on ppc64, would it be possible to bump the other java providers, as well?

ibm-java provides java@8
[email protected]:11.99 provides java@11
[email protected]:3.99.99 provides java@8

@hainest I don't think I'm the right person to do that, since I'm not using them. I could try to dig out sources, but I wouldn't be testing or evaluating them.

@anderbubble No worries. I will add it to my TODO list.
