Seems that Virus Total badge with URL https://badges.cssnr.com/vt/id/50267d4872fd6de92cebe5b198330bc88f329dfeacb34afc45a11869cce5277c
Is showing results older than 2 days.
The badge shows only 1 detection
but Virus Total shows 19 detections https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/50267d4872fd6de92cebe5b198330bc88f329dfeacb34afc45a11869cce5277c and Last Analysis Date 2 days ago.

If Virus Total requests by hash do not count toward request quota, could caching of these badges be set to 24 hours or less? I think a few hours would be ideal.
