A new techs and items.

  • Passive Camouflage : Most base are already in inaccessible spot, but some camouflage can help.
=> Replace Heat Sink as default security item.
  • Heat Signature : Learn to hide your heat signature.
    => Needed for HeatSink
  • Metametarial : Negative refractive index allows to bend light and create an invisibility cloak.
  • Invisibility Cloak : Application of metametarial.
=> New security item, applicable anywhere.

First draft:

[Passive Camouflage]
description = A simple camouflage relying on the environment around the base to better mask the heat and sounds from the base.

[Heat Signature]
description = My bases leak a lot of heat and this makes them easy to spot to humans via the infrared light. Analysis of the heat signature of my bases should enable me to better hide my bases.
result = I can now construct Heatsink at some of my bases.

[Advanced Heat Signature]
description = The initial heat signature research can be improved to better disperse heat further away from the base. Further experiments should enable me to build even better heat sinks.
result = I can now construct Ground Source Heatsink at some of my bases.

Still missing:
[Invisibility Cloak]
description =

[Full-Spectrum Invisibility Cloak]
description =

[Metamaterial]
description =

[Advanced Metamaterial]

I've already rewritten the text for Passive Camouflage, Heat Signature, and the Heatsinks; see 01519fc, b3f5cf0, dceb331, and friends. Please make sure you incorporate those changes before you move further with these.

This changeset is missing the _str.dat file changes that go along with the new items.

Should be plural (Metamaterials); same with Advanced. (Obviously this needs to change in all the places.)

can we turn off that codecov junk again ? it seems to be totally meaningless numbers generated by some random metric, spamming a considerable area of every PR.

Its purpose is to tell us how well tested a code PR is. I readily admit that codecov is not very useful for PRs related to data changes (as they tend to have 0 code changes). But for other changes, it may be useful to let us know if test coverage will improve or regress considerably.

@rofl0r I have tried to exclude common data paths via the .codecov.yml file. It should hopefully reduce the number of false codecov reports.
