I think a more efficient approach is to use the cross compiler for those arches that support them (at least powerpc and aarch64). see the description in #952 regarding the x86 job, we already have .github/workflows/selective-amalgamation.yml. the --test-random 0 is an exhaustive test (127 cases). it is ok to run locally but I am not sure it is a good idea to put it in ci. at least not without parallelizing it. |
