Summary of Changes

Hello, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request refines the project's copyright management scripts by introducing an exclusion for the vendor/ directory. This change ensures that Go files brought in as third-party dependencies are no longer subject to internal copyright checks or automatic additions, streamlining the development workflow and preventing unnecessary modifications to vendored code.

Highlights

  • Script Exclusion: Modified the add-copyright-to-pr-go-files.sh and check-copyright-on-pr-go-files.sh scripts to exclude files within the vendor/ directory from git diff operations.

Code Review

This pull request updates two shell scripts, add-copyright-to-pr-go-files.sh and check-copyright-on-pr-go-files.sh, to exclude files within vendor/ directories from processing. The change correctly uses a git pathspec :(exclude)vendor/ to filter out the vendored files. The implementation is correct and follows best practices for handling file paths in shell scripts. I have reviewed the changes and found no issues.
