Is there a dependabot-like way to automate periodically updating the commit hash for the modules? Otherwise that's a fair bit of manual work.

Yes, but it'd still be a task that someone has to remember to do periodically if it's not automated. Anyway, this PR looks good, we can figure out how to automate updates in a separate PR. |
