Description
In the past 15 years of continuous updates to FeedMe, a total of 6 one-time products and 2 corresponding functions that require purchase of products have been added.
In future versions, there will be more new features that need to be unlocked for a fee, and annual subscription charges will be added to provide unlimited use of all paid features.
Of course, not all new features will be charged. Generally, the following features will be charged:
- Personalized settings, such as the previous
custom launch icon. More themes or customized themes may be added in the future. - The feature I don’t want but some users want, such as
player widget and article list widget. - Some cool things that are not available or rarely available in other RSS app.
Back to the charging strategy, feedme will have 1 subscription and continuously increasing one-time charging products. One-time charging products will increase with the launch of new charging functions. This is the basic strategy. You can purchase a one-time item just to unlock a (a set of) feature(s), or you can purchase a subscription to access all paid features.
In addition, for every one-time purchase of a product, you can get a certain amount of points (now called credits), and the accumulated points can also be unlocked one by one in the order in which paid functions are launched.
As with the current strategy, if you accumulate 1 point, you can automatically unlock the custom launch icon, and if you accumulate 3 points, you can automatically unlock the player widget and article list widget. This is to ensure the interests of users who have previously paid to support FeedMe.
Let me state here that the currently displayed ❤️ value may be wrong due to exchange rates. The general conversion rule for the value of points (now credits) is 0.99 US dollars for 1❤️. However, it will be adjusted to US$0.99 for 10 point in the future.
I know that FeedMe’s charging strategy is much more complicated than other app. Again, this is mainly for the benefit of users who have paid before. For example, if some users have paid 10 or even 20 US dollars for FeedMe, they may be able to use new paid features without paying for 10 years in the future.
