Motivation

The “Edit this page” button is causing issues and we need a solution: scylladb/scylladb#12134

Proposal

The "Edit on this page" button should always open the default branch (main or master) by default.

NOTE: If the page does not exist anymore in the master branch, GitHub will return a 404 error. In a future iteration, we might want to check if the page exists or not in master before showing the "Edit on this page" button.
